Back in the day when my Classic was still a mono and worse still had to be
parked
outside under covers, I discovered a rodent nest consisting of grass and blue
foam pieces next to the fuel cock in the tunnel. The little blighter seemingly
gained access by shinning up the outrigger leg, or the rope connecting the
outrigger hinge to the ground anchor, scampered along the aileron push-rod
tunnel
while appreciating the abundance of blue nesting material under its paws
and selected a convenient central location to set up residence.

By the time that I became aware of its property development scheme, a
considerable
excavation in the blue foam had been achieved about halfway along the push-rod
tunnel. However the furry squatter must have scarpered, perhaps while the
aircraft was in flight, so I was never able to give it a piece of my mind. The
repair involved removing the wing to gain access by means of "keyhole surgery"
techniques and the underside of the wing still has a slight ripple in the skin,
bearing witness to an unintended slight exotherm from resin too generously
applied using a home-made bamboo syringe.

You have my sympathy and may I propose that you adopt the best solution to any
Europa's ills, by fitting three "training wheels".
