Fuel hose compatibility is a minefield since they introduced ethanol into
Mogas. The hose you are looking at seems to meet the basic standard of DIN
73379-B, which is nearly equivalent to the American SAE J30R7 hose. This
was OK in the past but now I would use SAE J30R9 or DIN 73379-3D hose which
is specifically recommended for fuels with ethanol in it. The only problem
with this stuff is that it is normally spec'd for fuel injection (high
pressure) hose so it is much stiffer and harder to get on the connection
barbs.

To the experts out there who have knowledge of fuel lines and material
quality, I would like your opinion on the following tubing.
It is rated at 10 bar, has no internal reinforcing but has a cotton
over-braiding. In theory it is more than adequate for the job as I have a
pressure regulator limiting to 2.3 psi but I would like to have your ideas
on this product please?
