Great news that you sorted out the medical and are keeping Gold Rush, especi
ally since you live on a great nice grass strip! I flew to Sun&Fun in 2011 a
nd am itching for another coast to coast adventure. I remember calculating t
hat I got 31 mpg at 160 KTAS. We do indeed have sweet little planes.
Work gets in the way for me, too, however with planning in advance I'd be up
for another east coast trip.
