Fwiw, I use this on my motorcycle as well as an idiot light on my other
homebuilt.
Single bright red led, with different and intuitive flashing patterns for
under voltage and over voltage. I have tested their calibration and they are
within 0.1V. Flashes when power is first applied, then stays off (as an idiot
light should) when the voltage is in the normal holding/charging range for
a lead acid battery. Comes shrink wrapped as opposed to the photo in the link.
