In fact the 914 works in the fuselage behind the cabin. The propeller is
foldable
and driven by a power train in the middle tunnel. In sail mode it's completely
covered by the nose, best glide angle is 1:50. The Stemme S 10 is really the
best fusion of both worlds but it comes also at a price of about three well
equipped Europas.
BTW: Service ceiling is 30.000 ft - above the Everest summit.
