We initially used the revised fittings from Graham Singleton. With those a
larger
inner diameter hose is needed.
One of those fittings backed out of the tank. So we made up new fittings with
a lip to aid with retention. Our tank outlets are very close to 1 1/8 inch OD.
We purchased preformed radiator hose whose ID is 1 1/8 and cut out straight
sections to fit. Seems like we had to get preformed hoses because straight hose
was not available in 1 1/8 inch. We replace these every 5 years and inspect
every year.
I'll post a drawing of the fitting in the next couple of days. Currently having
computer problems and can't print anything!
