Remi et al,

My experience is not aeronautical but electrical as have been
charging batteries as an Amateur Radio licencee since about '63. My present
charger/freshener has been most satisfactory if not cheap.(~$30CA)

I am not at the aircraft and advancing age has robbed my memory
module of its name - however you might google a charger which also
"disulphates" mature batteries.....actually slowly charges them as it uses
an HF signal to send the sulphate off the plates and thus allows the battery
to regain SOME voltage capability This, at a slow power rating....mA. While
most aircraft batts will hold a charge for some time, they do slowly
deteriorate over time due in part to sulphating.

My elder 16Wh model has slowly regained about 0.75V overall
charging ability in the last year. If you wish I'll research the machine at
next hangar visit.

Cheers, Ferg
