One of the clear tubing types replacing all PVC tubing on homebuilts is '
Polyurethane
without
plasticisers' - sometimes known as 'Blue Urethane'.
Following a fuel supply accident to a gyroplane the CAA issued mandatory permit
directive
1998-019 requiring inspection and possible replacement of flexible plastic
tubing
on all Permit
aircraft.( I placed a copy in my manual)
At the time I'm fairly sure Europa sent a coil of the new tubing to all builders
of earlier
kits.
