I have been using a sand blasting cabinet with glass beads to prepare parts made
---From aluminium.
I wash with hot water and Palmolive soap and scotch bright and or brushes before
painting.
I need to paint some steel parts.
How can i clean off the glass beading grunge from Steel?
I tried enamel reducer, even with scotch bright it does not seem to clean real
well.
I tried washing a practice steel part with hot water and Palmolive and it seems
to work well.
I am concerned that it may get surface rust??? I washed the practice part,
dried
it and hit it with a heat shrink gun. Don't see any corrosion.
I will be using Dupont self etching primer.
