Jeff,

Food for thought: remember these puppies also serve during take-off. My
experience w/ night ops w/ my Stinson...which has twin bulbs in the leading
edge...has been that one bulb is angled to light the taxiway/runway w/ the
tail "dragging" and one bulb is angled to light the runway w/ tail up during
take-off accelleration.
