Thank you for your enquiry with reference to your request for more details
about the supply, price, availability and other details for Evans NPG+
cooling fluid.
Apologies for the short delay in responding to this but as you can imagine
since you received the notification from Rotax, the demand has been
substantial for this product. Currently neither I nor the other European
distributor have available stock. However we expect to receive shipments in
the next 2-4 weeks from when we can make this available to you. We have both
ordered considerable stock so there should be plenty for every one who needs
it. Let me know how you want to arrange delivery.
Both Renox, the other European distributor based in Italy, and ourselves
worked hard with Rotax to test the fluid and we are delighted to be able to
offer this as a solution to what might appear to be a problem for a
considerable number of our clients.
Renox and ourselves have been carrying this fluid for some time and we have
been selling this mainly to the automotive sector (high performance, racing
and valuable older cars) although we have had some customers in industrial
environments. Indeed we have had significant demand from users of solar
heating systems, which have traditionally used water as the medium of heat
transfer. In all these environments, use of Evans NPG+ has resulted in less
boil over and increased system efficiency. However we have not had much
demand in the UK for the solar heating applications surprise surprise!
Evans NPG+ Cooling Fluid is imported from the US and comes in 1 US gallon
containers and is boxed in quantities of 4 gallons. For those of you who
need the conversion this equates to 3.78 litres.
The rrp has been set at 30 per US gallon. However we have made a concession
to all Rotax users in an agreement with Rotax and we are pricing this to you
at 27.50. We can supply this from either depot and will charge post/courier
charges plus 5 packing for supplies less than 1 box (4 US Gallons). The
price will be subject to change of currency exchange rates but will be held
until January 2005.
Payments are acceptable by cheque and we will be seeking to establish a
credit card payment scheme over the next couple of weeks.
Currently we have 2 depots stocking the Evans cooling fluid at centres in
London and Berkshire. Over the next 2-3 weeks whilst we wait for the stock
to arrive, we will be looking to extend the number of stockists to try to
ensure an even distribution.
