Greetings all,
After a busy fall with our glider tow operation I'm finally getting back to
my Europa. It's time for it to come out of the cradle and stand on it's own.
I've found what I believe is an error in the manual.
Regarding the main gear, my manual mentions using bearing spacers, but
doesn't say what the part number is. The nose gear refers to them as "Euro 14",
although elsewhere it refers to them as W-14. I have 2, W-14's, but no "Euro
14's.
The nose gear appears to take two, one each on the outside of the bearing to
hold it in place. The drawing for the main gear just shows "bearing spacer"
(handwritten on the drawing) but doesn't give the part number. Either way I'm
probably short 2. Does anybody know the story here?
Also, my manual doesn't give a part number for the bolt used for the nose
gear axle. Does anybody know the part number for this?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
John Lawton
