Yes, Kingsley.
You need a product called "Cats Whiskers" it is made in long roll lengths,
black and has 4" brush like bristle which you could cut down to length. I
would imagine it to be ideal for applying around a mono-wheel retract
hole/slot.

It is supplied by :-
Capital Rubber and Plastics Ltd.
Unit 11 Deans Factory Estate
Lambs Lane
Rainham
Essex RM13 8XL Tel:- 44) 01708 552214

It is used by heavy vehicle coach builders for anti-spray on their mudguards
and they also supply an aluminium mounting rail into which the brush
material is slotted. (Curved on an approx 2m dia curve, and straight also)
However the bad news is that they probably have minimum order rules so
perhaps there may be the possibility of the club acting as a holding
facility for small ammounts to be cut off.
It is quite bulky though and perhaps you could research a domestic door
draught excluder?
Oh! But you don't have draughts in OZ do you !

Web Page :- Http://www.capitalrubber.co.uk

Look under the section on "Cats Whiskers" ....then "KITs"
For your info. the 4" whiskers are supplied at 5.25/m ... 3" Whiskers at
4.85/m
Straight Aluminium Mounting moulding at 7.60/4m length
Curved " " " at TBA /1.8m curved length.(I
couldn't wait for the guy to 'phone back.)
all prices plus VAT (? export implications might be zero rated?)
Plus shipping and packaging.
They say clients usually use their own Forwarders.
Minimum order values GBP 50.00
Plus 4% use of Credit Cards surcharge.

Hello All

Does anybody know where I can procure suitable brush devices to instal in/on
the slots where the undercarriage and throttle levers travel ?
