Many thanks - just the info I need. Am I right to assume that the ribs are
equidistant (i.e. each 55mm) from the centreline of the tunnel under the
seat? I know that sounds pedantic, but...

It is not the bolts but the large AN970-3 washers that you need to worry
about. My plywood ribs are 110mm apart which gives me a few mm clearance

the washers.
