With switched pumps as I also have, I am also considering shutting the pumps
off prior to engine shutdown when I anticipate a hot start to follow. The
engine will run for about 30 seconds with the pumps off after start, so
letting it run might reduce the fuel in the carbs giving a head start on the
hot start process?
