Stu,
Make sure that the carbon brush against the ring is true and the
ring is clean. Also do you have the version (I think ) 1.1? I have
the CAP 140 and I ran it by itself off the a/c. I used clips to hook to
the studs with a small lawn tractor battery that I had laying around.
That way I could set it up and check the blade angles. However with the
new software version, this can be done with a lot less actions than the
first way. You know, setting the pot and all that nonsense. I am
planing to run the electronics to set the pitch and then shut it off
during in flight. I put a circuit breaker close by so I could do that if
I want.
