Landing Gear retraction shaft

Hi all, I am installing the landing gear frame. I was about to put in the
bushes LG01A and Shaft LG09. How do you ever grease this in years to come?
Is it wise to install a grease zirk in the large bore tube? If so what is
the practical orientation for use of the zirk fitting? It looks like now is
the time to do this sort of thing, before the frame gets permanently
mounted.

Another related question, the LG08 fork ends are supposed to get bushes cut
---From AIC 06082. I tried fitting the bush before cutting it into 1/4" pieces
(which seems ridiculous, why not just provide the proper bushes like the
wings hardware) and they are too big. Should this be a press fit? The wing
hardware bushes (FL9) went in with a tap of the mallet. Obviously I am not a
machinist.

Thanks, Kevin A211
