Steve,

I know that Bob Jacobsen has the uMonitor and he mentioned to me that it
has been great but we did not go into detail. I am sure he can provide
some experiences.

Subject: Filling the panel

Its about time to think about hemmorraging great amounts of cash again
to start populating the instrument panel. My specific question concerns
the issue of engine monitors. I am interested in either the Rocky
Mountain micro monitor or the Grand Rapids Technology unit. These seem
to be the main competitors out there unless I am missing something. The
Grand Rapids unit makes an emphasis on its capabilities to use detailed
monitoring and software to obtain precise leaning functions. As I am
planning on using a 914 these capabilities would be lost as you don't
lean the Bings.

I would like to get some input from individuals with some experience or
thoughts on these units. I figure the engine instruments are a good
place to start dropping the bucks on.
Has any one built the Rocky Mtn kit?

Thanks,
