All:

I just returned from a visit to Lakeland on Wednesday. As luck would have
it, I was on a
business trip that took me near there, and didn't learn about the buyout
until the evening before
my visit.

I spent a very pleasant several hours there. I talked to Keith Wilson and
John Hurst at
length; Jim and Augustine Brown had also flown in. All that you may have
heard about
their Monowheel is true. It is beautiful.

I also took a close look at the new motorglider wings, and studied the
control linkages.
I must say that they are very pretty, with some interesting aerodynamic
treatments at the
tips and a clever control arrangement that I couldn't have guessed at. The
improvement over
the finish quality of the prototype MG wings is dramatic. Alas, no flying
this time - not enough
time.

Europa is now in the best possible hands, with a single focus.

Shaun
