In the fullness of time, I would agree with you.  It will, however, be a
while before
uncontrolled flight is permitted again within the US.  Now that
we know that US authorities were worried about more attacks,
and that two more possible teams were just stopped at LaGuardia
and JFK, it is clear that this drama has many scenes left to play.
Other actors have the stage for now; our role is to watch and wait from the
wings.

Hey, Jimmy, if you're out there, no rush on the replacement wing skins...
