way is 4 probes and 4 displays, bar graphs ideally for me, but digital is
better than nothing. We had a switched system on a couple of Long EZs.
Neither were much use after a short time in service.

Was the switched system using a digital or anologue gauge? Analogue gauges
have a lower resistance and therefore load the output so that switch
contact resistance becomes more significant. A digital indicator should
have an input impedance of several megohms which should make any contact
resistance negligable by comparison.
