Its Luc Job`s Swiss conversion which was prototyped on G-RICS two years ago
and is now PFA approved.
The carbon single-piece gearleg weighs 12lbs and is alittle on the stiff
side, but it greatly improves the ground handling of the Europa.

It attaches by means of bulkheads laid-up onto the inside of the fuselage
just infront of the seat. Weight difference between it and the monowheel is
too close to call. No degradation of speed has been noted, even without
fairings on the legs.

Ride height (and hence prop clearance) with 5" wheels is 2 to 3 inches
higher than the monowheel.
