Anyone with a PC who is contemplating the recent virus episode and the state of
their virus protection might like to know that Computer Associates makes
available a free virus checker package.
Computer Associates is one of the large companies in this field. The product is
called InoculateIT Personal Edition. It is an industrial strength package and
is updated monthly free of charge (when you have registered) by email sent to
you automatically [or on demand by you if there is a sudden scare about a new
virus]. It is downloadable free of charge for personal use on one PC.
