Hi All,
Just wanted to say I finished the 40hour FAA flight test time on my Europa
yesterday. I now have a real airplane and can take passengers and go
anywhere I want (Yeah!!!).
No major problems encountered. Have been up to 10,000', over 200mph on the
airspeed, down to 50mph, pulled 3.5g's and done some aerobatics.
The plane is well mannered and very very fun to fly. It also has an
amazingly short takeoff run, climbs well and lands just great. If fact I
can't figure out all the fuss over the monowheel - I like it, and I still
have other airplanes stop on the taxiways to watch me land! (I guess they
think I forgot to put the gear down).
