Noise

Hi All,
I think I've settled on a layout for the panel. Problem is my Mitchell 
tachometer is going to end up close to my intercom.(Sigtronics w/plastic 
case) Question: will the tach, being in close proximity,cause noise in the 
headsets? Would foil tape around the intercom help? 
I was just trying to optimise space and plan ahead for future expansion 
without having to redo the whole left side later.
