Sounds like the pickup cable for the tachometer is
picking up transmitted RF. The cable to the tacho
should be shielded and grounded (grounding on one
end usually works best). Also, if it's in
physical proximity to the Terra's antenna cable,
try re-routing either cable. Try re-routing the
tacho cable so as to change its orientation with
respect to that of the comm antenna.
