I`ve had success in the past by using the metal valve fitting taken from an
inner tube. Add two penny washers with a small Viton o-ring under each,
snuggly fitting over the valve stem. But this was on a microlight so any
leakage would have been of little consequence. Nevertheless, 15 years on,
there`s no hint (or smell) of any leaks.
