Hi Donald.
You are correct in you comment about the adjustment speed of the electric CS
units. A little care is needed below 100 KTS when opening the throttle or the
engine would overspeed before the electric motor could move to the desired
pitch. I have not found this to be of any significance in use as it only takes
a
few seconds to adjust.
If you slam open the throttle on a Katana with a hydraulic Hoffmann prop it will
also overspeed but only for a very short time.
As to the cost. It is about pds 5000 but you can reduce this if you supply your
europa spinner.
