Re: Fuel Filter
This might be a silly question but I guess you start asking these things
when first flight is imminent. With the fuel filter, any contaminants get
trapped on the outside of the filter and can be seen through the glass
right???
Having not seen anything I'm assuming that either nothings turned up yet or
maybe I'm wrong and the fuel flows through the filter from the inside to
the outside. Silly I know (a tad paranoid perhaps?) and I'm sure I know
what the answers going to be but am seeking some reassurance.
After a good airplane inspection Friday I go over to Wichita MIDO for FAA
paperwork signing tomorrow and pick up my repairmans cert. Meanwhile
taxi-runs are up to 50 mph but high temperatures [mid 90's] are making for
unbearably hot taxiing under all that plexi. Here's waiting for a cool/calm
evening.
