Absolutely right. The reason is that by the time it has registered the fact
that lift is about to cease it has already happened. Wings stall at fixed
angle of attack , airspeed is the result of angle of attack, not the cause.
The cheapest and most accurate AoA sensor is a vane. Unfortunately it isn't
the most elegant. I wish someone would offer a trustworthy and elegant
system.
