For those who have been drooling over the Microair 760 radio
(www.microair.com) I have just had a conversation with them and have the
following tidbit of news.
Work is about to start on a matching transponder. The idea is to have a 2
1/4 inch diameter display head and a remote box connected via a multiway
cable. The display head will display the transmitted height.
Expect it before the end of 99.
This makes it possible to fit both radio and transponder display head in the
small panel area above the retract lever arm. Now, what am I going to do
with all of that free space on the right hand panel???
