It was tested with a battery. Many thanks for the feedback. Must remember 
that when I do my panel current testing.

   If this was tested with a battery, the applied voltage
   was 12 to 12.5 volts. When the system is up and running,
   14.2 is typical . . . and the contactor current will rise
   to about 0.900 amps.
