The EAA's SPORT AVIATION magazine has an excellent article
(Sept. 1998 Vol. 47, No. 9) on the Europa XS by Ed Kolano page 38.
It's a very good technical article. If you are interested in a test pilot's
report of flying the XS it will give you a good feel for the plane. It's
technical
enough for the aerodynamicists among you and Kolano's "thumbs up"
rating will cheer the true believers. The flight was made in N914XS.
This article also shows that Ivan Shaw is not only a good designer but
also a great PR man. He knows his bird.
Why don't you Brits have him stand for Parliament?
