Just in front of and below the pilot's thigh support, bolted to the side of
the tunnel. Make a small bracket from 1" by 2" by 1/8th extrusion and bolt
it to the RH side of the torque tube end fitting. Then bolt the short
pactuator push rod to that. Don't waste time and effort burying it under
the seat. You need accessibility to adjust the clutch during testing. The
quadrant may need turning 90 degrees. No problem to retro fit.

A curved cover extending from the front lip of the thigh support, (1/4
thick foam and glass sandwich) finishes it off and adds comfort. The
passenger will want one too.
