Thanks for your thoughts, Martin Yes, the tank (version of 4/96) has been expanded with fuel for 5 weeks, and the the aileron link rubs only at the ends, but it looks obvious that when filled with fuel, it will bulge out and interfere even more. Presumeably the spacers will help. The cockpit module bulkheads are blocked up to be 12.7" apart per the manual. Fig. 3 in the manual does show a large gap (as I have) where the temp. packing and layup are to be inserted. |
