GKWHip rigs relatively easily. I did once rig on my own using a Roger Huddleston
? trailer. The tuphnol guides in the fuselage are of course vital. Also
important is that the flap drive pins will self align without toppling. I seem
to remember that the assembly of the spherical bushes is critical. They are
designed to stabilise the ball and prevent it toppling too far for the pin to
self align. A taper on the pin ends would perhaps have been better than the
round ends. A taper on the spar pins also aids insertion, but is limited because
of the lack of space behind the spars.
A special rigging tool might help, eg a longer spar pin with an offset taper.
Insert, as far as possible then rotate to "cam" the spars into alignment. Remove
and fit the normal pins. It would need to be polished to prevent wearing the
bushes.
