I have heard that the problem wiuth stiplights is :-
1. Modern ones have bare tubes with grid - like baffles
and
2. the abscence of a plastic filter allows the transmission of UV rays
blocked by the plastic filters of old . Not helped by the more powerful
tubes !
The above is being liked to skin cancer - on the basis of cumalitive
exposure of office workers.
IMO proper industrial , as in non - flourescent lights , low - energy
lightbulbs or just some 200w household bulbs ....
