Aileron hickness at wing tip

Europa builders:

I've mounted the port aileron to the wing and have sanded down the top
surface of the aileron close out until it just barely rubs on the aileron
through out the entire aileron travel. It appears however that the airleon
at the tip end protrudes above the surface or the wing a bit (approx 2 mm).
I have considered sanding down the bottom surface closeout flange to bring
the aileron down into the closeout where the airleron thickness would be
less, but the aileron seems to match the wingtip foam block dimension
perfectly at this time. All comments and suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
