Ron's fishing line, monofilament nylon, is about .020" thick, or more if poss.
Tie weights on each end and drape two lengths chordwise across the wing as a
depth guide for your spring steel scraper, which needs to be 4" wide. The
colloidal silica is essential.
I was skeptical at first but believe me it works like a charm. After 1/2 an hour
run your scraper over the tramlines and they can, with practice be dissapeared.
The 1/2 hour will be about 4 feet of wing.

It REALLY pays to get all the filler on in one. It's impossible to get even
sanding otherwise because the precured sanded bits differentially absorb resin
and aquire different hardnesses. Stop mucking about guys, do it Ron's easy way.

Re resin pumps, I prefer Neville's (factory) single pot ratio balance. Much more
accurate, resin pumps vary with temperature and viscocity. Failing that an
accurate electronic balance that will weigh to 1/10th gram and a spread sheet
print out of the weights in .1 increments. I bought mine surplus for L20.

The 7th kitbuilt Europa has flown at Kirkwall in the Orkney islands. Andy is up
there to do the honours.
