Really? Well faired fixed gear is usually speed-competitive with well-sealed 
retractable,
at least up to 150knts. So the TD should occupy the higher ground.
Happy to share TD speed measurements, should you wish.

it combines the best aesthetics with good ground handling and hold the middle
