The former.

On a related question, has anyone replaced their electric flaps with a manual
system
(but not the mono system of levers and rods)?
The Motion Systems servo requires increasing amounts of commutator cleaning (now
down to about 10 hour cycles, which is too much, and has been a problem on RVs
too).
