Hello
I have the classic cowling and original 2 piece cooling radiators.
They handle the 100hp ULS without any problems. My highest readings were 110
degrees
C.
I use waterless coolant. Very happy with this set up.
However, the original 80hp size oil cooler is having difficulties when it gets
hot summer weather on climb out.
The differential is about 20 degree Celsius between both, rather consistently,
the oil being the hotter part.

I was wondering if someone with the Laminova set-up could
(via diagram and/or photos) show how it is done ?
I understand that you only need one radiator but as my two
do not cope with extended taxiing, the single radiator for
the Laminova would have to be huge.
On-line the applications seem to be automotive and they
say that an oil thermostat isn't needed. I assume that is
because there is a water thermostat.
So is a water thermostat required for the Laminova ?
Hopefully someone can enlighten me.
