Hi Paul,
I don't have his contact details, but the aircraft is G-MLXP and is is now owned
by Michael Davis. You are correct the original design was by Miles who is now
my inspector and John did the stress work to get the design approved.
As a side note to this, I am currently working on another conventional tail
dragger
design that should be a lot easier to install than the Miles set up. There
will also be no internal structure as it will mostly be contained in the wheel
well. It too will use tri-gear legs similar to Miles' set up, it's early days
yet but I hope to get a design to the LAA early next year and hopefully John
will do some stress work on it (when I can contact him). So watch this space.
