Europa-List: ADS-B GPS / WAAS antenna install

Hi Group We have a Garmin GA35 GPS / WAAS antenna that needs installing for 
ADS-B
Garmin GDL-82. We want to install it about 2 feet aft of doors under ceiling.
Has anyone put a GPS antenna there? Any pics? What size and shape ground plane
did you use? Garmin is calling for a ground plane to extend 7.5" from the
edge of antenna all around which will make it an approx. 19" circle. Thx. Ron
