As the Europa Club AGM cannot be held as originally planned ( due to the
COVID-19
crisis ), at Sywell this year, all members of the Europa Club should have
received
the e-mail below in the past few days. If you have NOT received it, please
send an e-mail to membership@theeuropaclub.org so that your current e-mail
address can be checked against our records.
Please register now for The Europa Club AGM which will be held using the medium
of Zoom Video Web Conferencing on 16th May 2020 at 18:30 UTC.
UNIVERSAL TIME CO-ORDINATED 18:30 Saturday 16th May
NEW YORK 14:30.
LONDON 19:30.
CENTRAL EUROPEAN TIME 20:30.
WELLINGTON 06:30. (Sunday 17)
Simply reply to this email confirming if you are considering attending. A
simple;
YES or NO is sufficient. We will then complete the necessary background
activities
which will be linked to this secure email address you have registered
with The Europa Club. Should you want to formally raise a particular
topic/motion/or
candidacy for consideration similarly please reply to this email in plain
language .
Zoom taster sessions will be offered in advance. These sessions are an
opportunity
to practice with the host and worldwide membership.
Presentations will be in English. That being said there are a wide range of
languages
understood by the Committee please email in what questions you may have.
Before / or after the formal AGM we will have a guest/s speaker who would talk
on a topical aviation related subject.
Due to COVID-19, the co-located AGM is cancelled this year, and so 2020 seems
like
the best year to take our AGM online and keep the momentum of our fantastic
club.
What's great with the online platform is that we can, for the first time,
involve
all of our members, globally, in the AGM.
And as always keep viewing the website for more details, agendas, etcetera as
they
become available.
