I am seeking tips and advice on completing this mod from those who have
done it before me.
I hope to complete the first step of gluing the in-fill piece to the top of
the canopy over the Christmas / New Year break. We are having an unusually
warm summer this year so early evening I often have temps of around 22
degrees C in the garage which should be perfect for the gluing I need to
do. Daytime temps are getting up to 38 degrees C so I shouldn't have any
issues with the glue taking a long time to cure.
I have found a few pictures that show the work required around the
windscreen and some that show the finished mod from the outside.
Can anyone point me to pictures showing the inside and the work required on
the in-fill pieces (not the foam but the factory provided glass layups that
I need to trim to fit).
I'd also appreciate any tips on the best way to build a support so I can
tip the fuselage top on its side to work on.
