Well. I've plotted a route from my home strip (Membury) to Sylt where I can
clear
customs. Then a quick hop back to Wyk Auf Foehr. At 100kts it will take me
(with no wind) 4 hours. She's got the range. I've got nothing on that
weekend......so
maybe I'll pop over and say hi. :-)
The only scary bit is the 1 hr plus where I'd be over open water with no chance
of gliding to land. Most of the remaining journey is also over water, but a
minute
of two from land.
The route I'm considering is:
Membury - Bedford
Bedford - Cromer
Cromer - GODOS
GODOS - AMSOT
AMSOT - SITSU
SITSU - TEGEC
TEGEC - The bottom of EDD41A
EDD41A - Sylt
I looked a route over land as much as possible, but it's 4 1/2 hours plus.
