Thanks for the tip Graeme. Was our anniversary this weekend so I followed your
lead & took the missus to Sy Cyr LEcole and we had a weekend visiting Versailles
& Paris. Lovely trip. Downwind right towards the Palace and base leg over the
lakes & gardens for runway 29. Stayed at the Hotel right by the airport which
was cheap & cheerful but a long way from anywhere without wheels. Spent lots
on taxis. Would stay in Versailles if we did it again which would be more
convenient
for the Palace, for train into the centre of Paris and lots of eating
places to choose from.
