Gidday, Regarding the components of the tailplane torque tube, have you considered dropping the female fittings in boiling water first? Heat guns on female bits was my first thought, before the water idea. Might be a dumb idea. If it works, re-assemble with a light lubrication to allow easier adjustment on the torque tube once approximately positioned. Tony Renshaw Long time fringe dweller, & Classic Taildragger builder. |
