Hi Tony,
When I bought my aircraft -this was 13 years ago- I discovered that the pilot
stick
was about 2 inches shorter than the copilot's. For some reason the builder
had decided to shorten it. This was making the pitch control very sensitive,
especially in the landing phase. I made an extension to bring the stick length
back to the original configuration and this made my landings a lot easier.
As it is easier to shorten the stick than lengthen it, my advice would be to
keep
your stick as it is until you have flown your aircraft for a while, then decide
what length works best for you.
